However if it is a specific island then it is likely an issue with things within that island. If you are having issues with the game entirely that may be a different issue. I know as a fact this island and even slightly the entire world (other islands) are effected by the amount of objects spread throughout the world. I have a fully developed world (all islands unlocked) that I've built a pretty extravagant main base on. If re-loading the game (going to the title screen and back) or re-loading the entire application does not help there are a few things I know for a fact cause slowdowns. Since this game is in early development optimization is probably not a key focus, and slowdowns/performance issues are often expected. Hopefully soon, the creators will optimize the game in the next couple of releases. Unfortunately, NVIDIA doesn't support an optimization for Craftopia like a few other early release games. Maybe if I do no breeding on the first map? More experimenting on my part to see if that is the case. It feels like something is triggering the slow frame rate (as opposed to it randomly rearing its ugly head). Now the new world is starting with the slow frame rate as soon as my character appears on the dock (not every time). No conveyor belts and no breeding farm (although I did play around with the breeding farm). Thinking I had too much added to the map, I started a new character with a new world then built a more compact building on the beginning map. My first world on the starting map had a lot going on with several large buildings, breeding farm, and conveyor belts up to Anubis. If I teleport to a different map (same world), the slow frame rate doesn't follow me. Oddly, it only slows down in one direction and on the map were it occurs. In Craftopia, there will be times when the frame rate drops to 5fps. My gaming computer is pretty decent where I can play ARK on Ultra settings with no problems. I realize this game is still early release, but maybe the designers skim through the discussions to see what issues the players are seeing.
